Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) in collaboration with both the UAEFA and the Asian Football Confederation conducts training sessions for football coaches to obtain C licence.

The training course under the supervision of Jamal Al Hassani and Huraiya Al Tahiri is attended by 20 trainers representing the Emirates in general and Abu Dhabi.

The training course is held under the framework of the Sports Council's programs for local trainers to obtain qualifications as per the standard requirements both at national and continental levels.

“The Sports Council fully supports the training course provided for the Emiratis to achieve their objectives in line with the AFC requirements,” said Saeed Al Muhairi, Director of the Department of Technical Affairs at ADSC.

According to Al Hassani, ADSC has provided many training courses and the C licence entitles those who pass out to obtain higher qualifications.

The course covered basics of football coaching skills. In the UAE, it is mandatory for junior football team coaches to obtain the required coaching licenses as a norm set by both the UAEFA and AFC.
