UAE President Cup Race today at Duindigt Racecourse

The thrill of the 2016 European season for the UAE President Cup for purebred Arabian horses will continue today with the move to The Netherlands. Today’s race (August 28) will be held at the Duindigt racecourse, and is expected to be another exciting leg.

The UAE President Cup for purebred Arabian horses is held under the generous patronage of the President Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and is taking place on the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

Today’s race-which is the second leg of the European season, is for a distance of 2150 meters. A field of 9 strong horses- aged 4 years and above, will compete in this 30 thousand money purse event which will  be held under the umbrella of Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

The European season for the President Cup will continue with the third leg to take place on September 8th at Doncaster racecourse in the United Kingdom.

Afterwards, the thrill will move to Churchill Downs racecourse in USA, as September 24th will be the date for the American leg .
