A delegation from Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) left for Japan for a 9-day technical cohabitation visit. The visit is to Yokohama Marinos Football Academy in Tokyo.
The cohabitation visit (30 September-8 October 2017) comes within ADSC’s plans to develop grassroots and juvenile footballing in the emirate of Abu Dhabi by learning and adapting latest international training techniques for junior football teams.
ADSC delegation is composed of Houriya Al Taheri, Faisal Al Hammadi and Salim Al Naqbi from Abu Dhabi Sports Council, as well as 5 players from the U-16 football teams from the major football clubs in Abu Dhabi emirate which are: Al Jazira, Al Ain, Al Wahda, Baniyas and Al Dhafra.
The visiting delegation will have a very busy unique program for the coming nine days, including training sessions and tours at Yokohama Marinos Football Academy.
Commenting on this visit, Talal Al Hashemi, Technical Affairs Director at ADSC said: “This cohabitation visit aims to get to know about the experiences of Yokohama Marinos Football Academy as the Japanese football is very rich in terms of junior footballing experiences, and this visit technical cohabiting visit will help us at ADSC to contribute to developing juniors football teams of the major 5 football clubs in Abu Dhabi emirate.”
