Big Successes for Mansoor bin Zayed Global Festival Debut in Australia

The debut of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horses Flat Racing Festival at Gold Coast- Australia was a real success.

The festival included the first listed Arabian race in Australia in the Al Wathba Stud Farm Cup. The races were for the distance of 1200 & 1400 meters.

The 1200 meters race witnessed a field of 10 horses, while strong 8 horses competed in the 1400 meters event.

Commenting on the Festival first edition in Australia, Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival and Chairperson of the International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities (IFAHR) said: ”The Festival is continuing its global successes very steadily. The debut of the event in Australia was a real success by all standards as the Festival is realizing its objective based on the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”

 The H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horses Flat Racing Festival is supported by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, in coordination with Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), IPIC and the National Feed & Flour Production & Marketing Co., Emirates Racing Authority, and Emirates Airlines, IFAHR and the General Authority for Youth Welfare & Sport.

The festival is sponsored by many bodies in Abu Dhabi.
