Al Maamari Clinches Title of ADSC Community Cycle Race at Yas Island

217 male and female cyclists from different categories and nationalities competed in Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) community cycle race at Yas Island on Saturday, 31 March 2018 to see ith Naser Al Maamari from UAE winning the title for the 52.8 km category.

Al Maamari clocked one hour, 15 minutes and 7 seconds to clinch the title.

The race came within ADSC community sport events, with the objective to encourage community cycling to improve physical fitness, and to lead healthy lifestyle.

The race was organized by ADSC in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police, Transport & Urban Planning Departments, and Abu Dhabi Health Authority, the National Ambulance, Al Ain Waters, and Gulf Multi Sport. 

The 44.4km category title went to Omar Khairy (Egypt) who clocked one hour, 04 minutes and42 seconds, while James Collins from Britain won for the 37.6km category in 53:27:29 minutes

The juniors' category (10.5km) title went to Abdul Aziz Abdul Allah of UAE who registered 20 minutes and 15.09 seconds.
