About the Event

Striders Half Marathon & 10 km Run | Yas Island

The 35th Striders Half Marathon and 10 km run feature a fast mostly flat picturesque International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) measured course starting at Yas Waterworld, taking in the Yas Plaza Hotels Precinct, Yas Marina, Ferrari World, Yas Mall VIP Entrance Ramp, and the greater environs of Yas Island.

The 2019 Half Marathon course will offer a variation over previous years with runners passing through the grounds of the Yas Marina F1 Track.

All Runners finishing the run will receive a finishers medal.

Included in the price of entry also is breakfast in Yas Waterworld (available after the race from 08:00am to 9:45am) and access to the waterpark for the day of the race.

For runners there is also lockable lockers inside the waterpark (free up to 10am)

Timings:

5:30 am: Registration opens

6:30 am: Start Half Marathon

6:50 am: Start 10 km Run

7:00am: Start of the Family 3Km Run
