The 12 best teams in the world will compete for two days for the pride to represent their city, the USD 30,000 winners cheque and a chance to be crowned FIBA 3x3 World Tour Champions. A win at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final also means a guaranteed spot at the 2016 FIBA 3x3 All Stars.
The qualifying system for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final comprised of 7 Masters (Mexico DF, Utsunomiya, Prague, Lausanne, Debrecen, Beijing and Rio de Janeiro). The winners of each of the seven Masters plus the best teams in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour standings, at the end of the season, qualified to Abu Dhabi Final.
The best dunkers in the world, members of the Dunk Elite crew will compete in a slam-dunk contest.
Six schools from Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be involved in the first ever 3x3 cheerdance contest, with performances being held in both days.
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour was first launched in 2012. The former winners are San Juan (PUR, 2012), Brezovica (SLO, 2013) and Novi Sad Al Wahda (UAE, in 2014 and 2015).
