Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) organized in cooperation with the UAE Football Association, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club- Al Ain City, a training course for football coaches to obtain the “C” level football-coaching license.
The 2-week course (4-16 November 2017) has been successfully concluded at Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club in Al Ain City.
The course was attended by 21 male and female coaches of junior football teams of the five major football clubs in Abu Dhabi emirate.
Theoretical and practical lectures of the course delivered by Ahmed Zakaria- a UAE national and certified lecturer from the AFC, and deputy chairperson of the sports medicine committee at the UAE football association- Reema Al Hosani, who is a UAE national as well.
Lectures of the course included and covered sport injuries, nutrition and goal keeping skills.
Representative of ADCS’s technical affairs division; Ahmed El Messabi, Yousef Irmaili and Houriya Al Taheri praised the contents of the course, and thanked the attendees for their keenness to develop their football coaching skills and knowledge.
This and other similar training courses come within ADSC’s plans to cope with latest international developments in terms of juvenile and junior football teams coaching in order to contribute to developing grassroots footballing in Abu Dhabi emirate on the long run.
