Major General Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Chairman of General Authority for Sports received the Asian Football Federation (AFC) presidential candidate Adel Ezzat at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council on Wednesday.
Ezzat is bidding for the AFC’s top job in next year’s elections. Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa is the current president of the AFC after being elected unopposed in 2015 and whose four-year term ends next year.
The meeting between Al Rumaithi and Ezzat was cordial and discussed the future cooperation and development of the Asian football.
