The Abu Dhabi Club U16 footballers travelled to Japan as part of the joint cooperation agreement between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and both the Japan International Cooperation Centre (JICE) and the Japanese Football League.
The program is part of ADSC’s endeavour to provide the age group players from the Abu Dhabi Clubs an early introduction to professional experience with the football schools, including the Urawa Reds Academy, in Japan.
The eight-day cohabitation program include training sessions every evening and a workshop
The team will play a friendly with the Urawa U16’s and will pay a visit to the Japanese Football Museum.
Talal Al Hashemi, ADSC’s Director of the Sports Development Sector, said team from Abu Dhabi's five clubs is a continuation of the Abu Dhabi-Japan Football cooperation program that aims to sustain partnership plans and learn about advanced football experiences.
“It’s a unique experience for our players to learn different cultures and share the experiences with each other,” he added.
