Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and the UAE Football Federation in association with the Sudan Football Association will stage the Sudanese Football Super Cup match between Al Hilal and Al Merrikh at the Al Jazira Club’s Mohammed bin Zayed stadium on November 2.
It is the first step of a partnership in sports exchange program between the two brotherly countries since the establishment of the Union.
Hatem Hassan Bakhit, the Sudan Minister of State, emphasised the unstinted strong ties and the relationship between the two countries.
The UAE delegation received a high-level reception from the Sudan Football Federation, led by Major General Dr. Amer Abdulrahman, First Deputy Chairman of the federation, Professor Mohammad Jalal, Vice President and Chairman of the Legal Committee and Member Affairs, Nasruddin Ahmed Humaidati, Vice Chairman of the Federation, and Dr. Hassan Mohammed Abdullah Barqo, member of the Board of Directors of the FA.
HE Aref Hamad Al Awani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) headed the UAE delegation with Mohammed bin Hazzam Al Dhahiri, of the UAE FA.
Professor Kamal Hamed Shaddad, Chairman of the Sudan Federation in his office in advance in his office to congratulate him on the strong return of the Sudanese football leadership.
A discussion took place in which Professor Shaddad discussed the beginnings of the UAE football through Sudanese cadres technically and administratively, He added: "

“It is a great honour to receive you in our country and this visit of the UAE delegation will pave the way for a long lasting partnership in our sports exchange program.”
HE Al Awani assured the UAE’s commitment and a number of joint venture projects to follow from their first visit to Sudan.
