The visiting delegation of Yokohama Marinos Football Academy in Tokyo, Japan, concluded its cohabitation visit to Abu Dhabi.
The visit of the Yokohama delegation came within the Abu Dhabi- Japan football development program. This program is implemented jointly by Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), and the Japanese International Cooperation Center (JICE).
The visit represented phase four of the Abu Dhabi- Japan Football Partnership Program that aims at developing grassroots and junior footballing in Abu Dhabi emirate.
The Japanese delegation completed its visit by visiting Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi before heading back to Tokyo.
The fourth phase of this program included holding attended by members of the visiting Japanese delegation, representatives of ADSC, coaches and supervisors of football academies of the five major football clubs in Abu Dhabi: Al Wahda, Al Ain, Al Jazira, Baniyas and Al Dhafra.
Joint training sessions and friendly matches for the team of visiting Japanese side with U-15 teams of Al Wahda, Al Jazira, Baniyas and Al Ain football academies were part of this visit as well.
