About the Club
The Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club was established in 1999 in Al Ain, and was authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports pursuant to Resolution No. 27 of 1999. The club aims to accelerate the growth of chess and mind games among its members, creating the means for them to effectively utilize their leisure time while strengthening their bonds with their club-mates as well as with other social and sports institutions in the country, and preparing a distinguished generation capable of building the future. The club organizes many international and local competitions and activities throughout the year in partnership with civil society organizations in Al Ain, within the framework of achieving the club’s vision as a global community sports institution and expanding the popularity of chess and mental games among various segments of society in the city of Al Ain in Abu Dhabi, in accordance with the vision of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council 2030.
