Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge

About the Event

Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is an international sporting event held annually under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region. The rally is one of the most challenging and prestigious events in the world of cross-country rallying for cars and motorcycles, spanning five stages.

The rally is classified as one of the rounds of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) for cars and motorcycles.

The 34th edition of the rally will take place from February 21 to 27, 2025, featuring a 60% route change. The race will now start from Al Ain, with a bivouac in Al Qou’a for both cars and motorcycles, leading up to the final stage in Abu Dhabi.
