City Run Presented by Al Ain Water

About the Event

The City Run presented by Al Ain Water returns for Race 2 on Friday 20 December 2019 for a lovely run along the Corniche. City Run 2 offers runners the opportunity to run either 5Km, 10Km or the half marathon distance of 21.1 km.

The race will start and finish at East Plaza (at the Al Khaleej Al Arabi intersection with Corniche Road) and will be a looped 5Km course on the closed road between Al Bateen and Airport Road.

The run course will be on the closed section of road between the two points mentioned above starting and finishing adjacent to the bus stop on the eastern side of East Plaza.

Participants can choose to run 5Km (single lap), 10Km (2 laps) or 21.1Km (4 laps).

Race starts at 7:00 am with registration checkin from 6am.

HALF MARATHON CUT OFF TIME: We have to have the roads open by 10am so any half marathon runner having not completed the first full 3 laps before 9:00am (2 hours) will be given a time for 16Km and requested to leave the course. All Runners must be clear of the road by 9:30am latest for a complete cut off.
