About the Event

The season opening Triathlon Festival for 2019 presented by Daman Insurance at Al Hudayriat Island on Friday October 4 and 5.

Protected swim course, open and spacious transition, a looped bike course with NO TRAFFIC and a run course with a twist.

Friday Distances:
Olympic Individual and Relay (1500 m swim | 41 km bike | 10 km run)
Sprint Individual and Relay (750 m swim | 21 km bike | 5 km run)
Super Sprint Individual and Relay (375 m swim | 11 km bike | 2.5 km run)

Timings:
6:00 am: Registration opens
6:45 am: Start Olympic Individual & Relay (1500 m swim | 41 km bike | 10 km run)
7:15 am: Start Sprint Individual & Relay (750 m swim | 21 km bike | 5 km run)

7:30 am: Start Super Sprint Individual & Relay (375 m swim | 11 km bike | 2.5 km run)

Friday afternoon will feature a Individual Time Trial Cycle Race. More information in a separate event listing.

A Junior Triathlon along with an Open | Junior Aquathlon will be held on Saturday morning 5th October. More information in a separate event listing.
