Liwa Cycling Sportive 2020 | Moreeb Dune

One event not to miss on your cycling calendar is the 17 January 2020 Liwa Cycling Sportive, now part of the UAE Tour Mubadala Challenge.

The stunning area of Liwa with the start/finish area near Moreeb Dune will surely make you want to come back year after year. The race will see riders traverse the most picturesque terrain in the Empty Quarter of the United Arab Emirates.

Make the most of this unique experience by booking a tent or a campsite at Moreeb Dune.

Please note that TT Bikes and bikes with bar extenders are not allowed.

The UAE Tour Mubadala Challenge is aligned ONLY with the long course of 108Km. Other distances will be acknowledged and awarded under the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Community program with all receiving the stunning Liwa Medal and Age group podium awards across junior (under 17, Youth 18-23, Open 24-39, Masters 40-49, Veterans 50-59 and Super Veterans 60+

Intermediate: 70.5Km
Short: 42 km
Juniors (6-12 years): 8 km or 16 km

Road to Moreeb Dunes closes from Liwa at 7am for an 8am race Start time.
