Nahyan bin Zayed: Al Ain’s victory is a new milestone of excellence for the Emirati people
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, extended his sincere congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, on Al Ain Football Club’s victorious triumph at the 2024 AFC Champions League. He claimed the championship victory as a triumphant milestone for the Emirati people as a whole.
His Highness also congratulated His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club, on this great achievement, which is a further addition to the accolades earned by the UAE in all fields.
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed said: “This major Asian title is a source of pride and happiness for all Emirati football fans, having regained continental glory after a well-deserved 21-year absence, following a journey full of giving throughout the tournament.
“All congratulations to the Council of Honour, the leaders of Al Ain Club, the Board of Directors, the players, the technical, administrative and medical staff, and to the many Al Ain fans who stood with all strength and sincerity behind the team until the goal was achieved, which made all citizens and residents of the Emirates happy.”
His Highness concluded: “The great Asian title confirms the ability of UAE football to excel and achieve leadership in continental forums, and raises everyone’s ambitions for national teams to win more championships and earn more achievements during the next stage.”
