The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship kicks off at Yas Links tomorrow
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship 2024 kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, 7 November, at Yas Links on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The tournament’s nineteenth edition features an elite group of the world’s leading golfers in a challenging and exciting four-day competition from 7 to 10 November, as part of the DP World Tour.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is the fourth Rolex Series event of the season and occupies a prominent position on the Tour’s Global Schedule as part of the season-ending DP World Tour Play-Offs.
The tournament will feature the world’s best golfers, such as Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, in addition to a group of Ryder Cup stars, including Olympic silver medallist Tommy Fleetwood and Rolex Series winner Robert MacIntyre.
The tournament’s organising committee has ensured that all family members are entertained at Yas Links, through the dedicated HSBC Fan Village, which offers a variety of entertainment experiences, food, and interactive shows suitable for all ages. The events include a wide range of fitness classes throughout the day, such as yoga, Zumba and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), under the supervision of coach Monica Pulgarin. Additionally, there will be a free glitter paint station in the Champion Village, free golf lessons on the driving range, and an amazing golf show by the Trick Shot Boys.
The village also includes many entertainment activities for young attendees, such as access to the Kids’ Zone, where they can enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting, bubble shows, giant games, and activities, as well as free ice pops. Children will also be able to participate in the Future Falcons golf zone, where they will receive free lessons and tips from professionals.
General Admission tickets provide free entry throughout the tournament, while spectators can enhance their experience with Ticket+, which includes access to the course and Championship Village, and a viewing area overlooking the ninth hole. Ticket+ also includes access to F&B offerings, golf activations and entertainment throughout the venue, as well as priority parking. VIP guests can enjoy a stunning view from the tournament pavilion balcony, in addition to a range of additional benefits such as fast track access and special priority parking, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, and big screen coverage of all the play around the course.
The organising committee has also partnered with Yas Theme Parks to offer a discount of AED 50 on entry to its wonderful entertainment venues. It will be sufficient to present the tournament ticket upon arrival to benefit from this discount.
The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is one of the most prominent sporting and entertainment events of the year that cannot be missed.
