Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally competitions will be held in its 33rd edition during the period from February 25 to March 2, 2024.

The 2024 edition of the rally is the third edition of the World Long Desert Rally Cup (W2RC), in which the Abu Dhabi Rally begins as the second round of the World Long Desert Rally Championship after the Dakar Rally, where the International Automobile Federation and the International Motorcycle Federation launched the first edition of the World Rally Championship. 30 editions of the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally, which was called the “Emirates Desert Challenge,” were organized before the establishment of the World Cup for Long Desert Rallyes.
