ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon

About the Event

The ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon is one of the UAE’s most prominent annual sporting events, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with ADNOC. First launched in 2018, it has since grown into an international event that brings together professional and amateur runners from around the world.

Held in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the marathon route passes through iconic landmarks such as the Corniche, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, Zayed Sports City, and Qasr Al Hosn. The event features a range of race categories, including the full marathon (42.195 km), a relay half marathon, and races of 10 km, 5 km, and 2.5 km.

The marathon aims to promote a culture of sports and healthy living, encourage community participation across all age groups and nationalities, and highlight Abu Dhabi as a global sports destination.

The 7th edition will take place on December 13, 2025, with lead-up promotional races including:
• A Half Marathon in Al Ain on November 8
• A 10 km race in Al Dhafra (Al Dhannah) on October 18
