Held over 3 weeks across 3 courses… Abu Dhabi Sports Council launches the Into the Night Golf Series Community this October

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has announced the launch of Into the Night Golf Series 
this coming October, offering golf enthusiasts from all walks of life a unique experience of playing under the lights at three of Abu Dhabi’s premier golf courses. 
The competitions will run over three consecutive weeks, starting at 4:30 p.m. in a shotgun format. The opening round takes place on October 4 at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, followed by the second round on October 11 at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club, before concluding on October 18 at Yas Acres Golf & Country Club. 

His Excellency Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of Events Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: 
“The Into the Night Golf Series reflects the Council’s commitment to supporting and developing the sport of golf and broadening its base of players across different categories, from amateurs to juniors. It represents a step forward in elevating our athletes’ journey towards international recognition. This initiative comes at a time when golf in the UAE is experiencing remarkable growth and popularity, attracting increasing attention from diverse segments of the community. This reflects the extensive efforts being made to strengthen its status locally and globally.” 

He added: 
“Into the Night Golf Series will be a unique experience, combining the thrill of competition with the ambiance of playing under the lights at Abu Dhabi’s renowned clubs. It opens new horizons for wider participation and further enhances the capital’s position as a leading destination for world-class sporting events.” 

The tournament will be played in a Stableford format across 18 holes, and is open to players of all ages and categories – men, women, and juniors. Participants will receive a shirt, golf balls, and a food & beverage voucher worth AED 75 upon registration. 

Winners of the series will enjoy special opportunities, including participation in the Pro-Am rounds of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, as well as shopping vouchers from E-Golf stores and prizes in skill contests such as Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin. 

The series will also feature dedicated activities for juniors as part of the “Future Falcon” program, in collaboration with the Emirates Golf Federation. Qualifiers will be held at the three participating clubs, leading up to the finals at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship at Yas Links Golf Club from November 6 to 9.
