The Abu Dhabi Marathon Village 2025 organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and sponsored by ADNOC, has attracted thousands of visitors and participants at Zayed Sports City, as its activities kicked off on Monday, 8 December, in the lead-up to the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi Marathon 2025, scheduled for Saturday, 13 December. The village serves as the vibrant heart of the event and a central meeting point for runners and the public. It offers a comprehensive program that combines sports and entertainment activities, with diverse experiences suitable for all ages, while providing participants with the opportunity to collect their race kits in a festive atmosphere.

The village welcomes visitors daily from 15:00 to 22:00, and on race day it will open earlier from 05:00 to 13:00 giving participants and visitors ample time to enjoy its lively ambiance and wide range of activities.

The marathon village features an extensive variety of offerings, including fitness classes led by professional trainers, yoga sessions designed for relaxation and mental preparation for runners, and a mix of workout activities suitable for all levels. It also includes children’s entertainment zones equipped with games and interactive activities, as well as live music and artistic performances that add a celebratory spirit to the event.

The village also hosts pavilions for the marathon’s sponsors and partners, where visitors can explore the latest sports-, health-, and fitness-related products and services. Participants can collect their race shirts—produced by global sports brand Nike—upon completing their registration, in addition to viewing this year’s specially designed medals, which feature the marathon course map as a unique keepsake.

His Excellency Talal Al Hashemi, Executive Director of the Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “Abu Dhabi Marathon Village is an essential part of the event’s overall experience. It is a vibrant space that brings together participants and visitors, offering continuous sports and entertainment activities throughout the days leading up to the highly anticipated race. We have ensured the creation of a fully integrated environment that meets the needs of runners, families, and visitors—reflecting the marathon’s status as a global event that promotes health, activity, and community engagement. We are confident that this year’s edition will deliver an exceptional experience for everyone.”

On Thursday, 11 December, at 16:00, the marathon village will host a pre-race press conference featuring top international runners participating in this year’s edition. The conference will highlight details of their participation and expectations for the race, making the village an important platform for media and sporting engagement ahead of the main event.

The village plays a pivotal role as a community space that encourages sports and promotes an active, healthy lifestyle. It forms an essential part of the overall marathon experience, giving participants and visitors a memorable place to spend time in the days leading up to the race and to engage in diverse activities that reinforce the concept of “sport for all.”
