Baniyas wins Volleyball Federation Cup

Baniyas clinched the Volleyball Federation Cup, the first championship of the local season, by defeating Al Nasr 3-0 in the playoff match that brought them together today, Tuesday, at the Al Ain Club Hall.

The results of the sets were 25-22, 26-24 and 25-23 in Baniyas' favour.

The two teams had exchanged wins in the first and second sets, with Al Nasr winning 3-0 in the first set and Baniyas winning 3-1 in the second, forcing the two teams to compete in a playoff match today, from which Baniyas emerged victorious.
